When I tried each of the products, one in particular stood out to me. This one! I really like~!

Yep, it's your typical lipstick packaging. But rest assured, the design isn’t going to scratch off easily!
It’s a true red. The stick color is deep red. It’s not quite as deep when you apply it. On my lips, it’s a cherry red—a little darker than “normal red” but not quite a deep red like the stick.
With lip balm: When I wear lip balm underneath, the color is slightly lighter than when I don’t wear lip balm. I think it has to do with less pigment being applied, since the balm makes the lipstick glide across your skin.
Here’s a swatch summary:
And here is a demonstration of the color difference with and without lip balm (for 1 and 2 layers):
I didn't care to apply nicely, hehe~! ^^;
It's not a very obvious difference, but it's there. With both balm and lip gloss, it can even end up looking more like “normal red.”
Matte and opaque.
It’s pretty creamy! It’s a very smooth texture. You can see there’s a bit of glisten in this swatch. So it’s got some moisture in the formula:
That being said, I still wouldn’t call it moisturizing. The formula is creamy, but not lubricating. It tugs a bit when I’m applying it without lip balm. That’s when I’m applying; on my lips, it feels neither drying nor moisturizing..
Here’s a comparison with some other lipsticks:
I recommend exfoliating, otherwise it doesn’t get into every nook and cranny:
And even when I did exfoliate, there were some small uncovered specks (see arrows):
Either that, or use lip balm to get a nice even coverage! With lip balm, it glides on super easily. (But it can also bleed.)
I like it! I reach for it almost every day now. Of course that won’t stop me for checking out other lipsticks! ^^
These pictures were taken with natural light coming through my windows. With both lip balm and lip gloss, the lipstick looks more like “normal red.” It's also because with gloss, the color wears off more quickly.
What's your current red lipstick?
