My favorite Asian product is definitely BB creams. They are simply incomparable with western ones. I tried mostly Korean cosmetics and I like SkinFood and Etude House.

DeleteMy favorite Asian brand/product is the Precious Mineral Sun BB cream from Etude House! It was a gift actually from my aunt, but I've used it and I love it! It's suitable for the super hot weather in the country I'm living in, Malaysia!

Ah! What BB Cream do you use~? I have trouble finding BB Cream that fits my skin tone...most of them are a tad too brown for my yellowy skin! I'm sure your dark circles can't be that bad! Mine are to the point where BB Cream doesn't even help, I need extra concealer ><
DeleteMy favorite Asian product are the BB creams because the few that I have tried and own are suitable for my dry/ sensitive skin as they don't cause any break outs on my skin and they have high spf and anti ageing properties and give a natural look.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite product would be skincare. I would love to say BB cream but I found most of them are breaking me out nor having lesser shades that suits my skin. Recently I tried the KOSE skincare from Japan and I really love the results. I'm having a dull skin aside from acne-prone and I couldn't find any acne skincare that suits me the best yet but I found this skincare that really brightens my skin with a lot of goodness.Although the price is pricey but it worth the try~

DeleteHard to choose one brand...i adore many korean brands but if i have to say one it will be SU:M37˚ because my mom has terrible sensitive skin and till date its only the korean brands that suits her skin ...am really thankfull that she can use serums and emulsions now without worrying and i will never go back to western brands which did nothing except giving allergic reactions....love love love korean brands

ReplyDeleteFor my favorite Asian beauty product, (I hope this counts as it is more of a skincare product) I'd go with toner. "European" toners I can buy at local drugstores just don't work for me. They are always SO drying and make me break out too. All the Asian toners I've tried are awesome! They are hydrating, moisturizing and even cleansing~ *-* I'm glad I decided to give them a try.

DeleteAh, yes! I think Western and Asian brands take totally opposite approaches towards toners! I think Western brands see it as a deep cleanser, but Asian brands see it as a moisturizing prep! I haven't seen a cleansing Asian toner yet though! I'm curious, because that sounds like the best of both worlds (cleansing and moisturizing)~!

Deletei don't own much Asian makeup products. but for me I think Étude House is my favorite. Their hand creams are super amazingly good. they leave your hands silky smooth.

DeleteMy favorite is probably Kose Softymo Deep Cleansing oil! It's a simple product but it removes the heaviest of make up sooo quickly and washes clean at the same time. Very gentle for my sensitive skin too!

i guess my favorite products are lipsticks and lip gloss. there's just so much difference with what they sell in US and in Asia. maybe it's because i have sensitive lips??? >.< haha. most of my cosmetics come from etude house and skin food. peach and lily would really bring a new twist in my new collection. ReplyDeleteAt the moment i tryed some BB creams and actually my favourite is Super+ vital orange BB cream, from Skin79, because are PERFECT. I mean perfect for oily skin. The tone is so beautiful, the texture is thick and the coverage is so nice. This BB cream covers so much! Smells good, and works so good!
I want to try Etude house products, like Precious mineral BB cream and Tony Moly Lip tint \( >,<)/ I think their products are so original and really adorable for girls. All with pink colors, the designs and smells etc seems like are so nice!
